COMPAQ Elbow Terminal Protector (CRTP) is an advanced insulating solution designed for cable entry boxes with various indoor terminations. It is specifically developed for situations where phase-to-phase clearance is minimal, and there is a high risk of air flashover due to insufficient insulation levels. Acting as a robust barrier, this protector significantly minimizes flashover risks and enhances operational safety.

Manufactured using specially formulated EPDM/Silicone rubber, the CRTP offers exceptional UV resistance, track resistance, mechanical strength, and superior insulation properties. It is a moulded component compatible with epoxy bushings and undergoes stringent factory testing to ensure reliability under critical conditions.

CRTP delivers a dielectric strength of 15kV/mm and supports easy installation with its one-piece construction. This product is ideal for Ring Main Units (RMUs) with C-type bushing interfaces or bushings with diameters ranging from 46mm to 56mm.
